I am not good at getting up early. In fact I mostly hate it but the odd time I do venture out at the break of day I always find myself feeling happy. The world feels different early in the morning and that is most definitely true of central London. I took this picture in Covent Garden at about 8am on Saturday morning. Within a hour this would have been full of people but at this time it was just one of the shop ladies with her cart taking stock to one of the boutique little shops. Sometimes it is worth getting up early.
