Day 256 – Lighthouse of Saint Theodoroi

This is the Lighthouse of Saint Theodoroi. It was built in 1828 by the British administrator Charles Napier. In 1953 a huge earthquake hit the island causing massive damage including to the light house. In was rebuilt in 1960 using the original designs for the building and continues to be a working lighthouse to this day.
