My favourite thing about Christmas is my decorations. Every year I buy a proper tree and cover it with pretty sparkly things. I love the soft glow of the lights in the corner of the room and the soft delicate smell that the tree fills the house with.

I love the Christmas tree, too. Ours is stored in the basement (artificial.) This year I purchased scented sticks to hang in the tree so it would smell real.

Since moving to the Southern Hemisphere where Christmas is in the summer and the kids all grown, we don’t do a big tree any more. Yours is just lovely!
