I think this image captures that perfectly. The last of the Autumn is still clinging to the branches refusing to let go despite the fact that the air around it is is like a blanket of winter slowly rapping up everything in its grasp tighter and colder.

OMG this is gorgeous. It makes me want to put on my winter coat and boots and go out for a walk to drink in the beauty of the landscape!

Yes it does and the foggy trees in the background seem as if they’re going to uproot and fly south.
