pastel pink autumn rose

“October proved a riot a riot to the senses and climaxed those giddy last weeks before Halloween.” ~ Keith Donohue

This pretty little soft pink rose is flowering in my front garden. As I write this I can see it through the window valiantly bobbing about in the Autumn sunlight. It seems unaware that the summer is gone and really it should be bedding down for the winter. I am not complaining though, it looks so pretty out there showing off its pastel pink petals. I hope the frost stays away and it continues with its rebellious activities.
