“Poetry is a fresh morning spider-web telling a story of moonlit hours of weaving and waiting during a night.” ~ Carl Sandburg
This was taken in the later afternoon as the sun was dipping low in the sky. I love how the web seems to be glistening with rainbow colours where the light is catching it. I took it with my macro lens hence the shallow depth of field and only a slim portion of the web being in focus. Again I like the result though because it has created very subtle little bokeh effect.
I am not a particular spider fan but I have a rule in my house that as long as they stick to the corners and don’t start scuttling around everywhere I am happy to let them live rent free. If they start legging across the ceiling, especially above my bed they are served an eviction notice and popped out of the window. For those of you in the USA who are confused, we don’t have screens in our windows and doors in the UK and our spiders all absolutely harmless.
