This has been our weekend. We have completely stripped out my sons very small bedroom. Painted the walls a soft cream colour and put in a wall bed and a wall mounted TV. He has been sleeping on a mattress in the front room and the whole house is in total chaos. There is rubbish and paint and tools and goodness knows what absolutely everywhere but we are very close to being finished and it rather cool that we did it all in 3 days.
It was also my sons birthday. He was 17 which, in the UK, means it is time for driving lessons. He had his first one of Saturday which he was very pleased about. It seems like only yesterday I bought him home from the hospital and now he is towering over me, learning to drive and has a part time job as a Lifeguard. Where oh where does the time go.
