“Life was always a matter of waiting for the right moment to act.” ~ Paulo Coelho
Please don’t offer derogatory comments about this mans shape. I am not posting this picture to for that purpose. I am offering it as a strange narrative on life. We have no time to stand and stare… It is from a poem called Leisure by W.H. Davis and first published in 1911. The poem is about the fact that the fast pace of modern life results in man having no time to enjoy the sights of nature which has a negative effect on the human spirit.
This is a very interesting composition. Photographically it works well, with so many lines and textures. As a comment on modern life it also works well. The man has a very interesting face.
