“No city should be too large for a man to walk out of in a morning.” ~ Cyril Connolly
In which London is too large but I like it that way. Sprawling and giant, it is constantly alive, no matter what time of day or night it is. There is plenty of opportunity to walk as well but luckily the bus and tube train system while confusing to non Londoners is extensive. I had to wait a little while to get this shot as London is not a quiet city and there were was a constant stream of people hurrying along but eventually I got my moment. A lone pair of legs ignore the bus option and opting for the oldest form of travel known to man
A wonderful post and the composition of the photo is excellent. We probably all need to walk more.
London is one of those place like Berlin or Los Angeles that never sleeps! We went everywhere with the Tube:)
