A lot of us Baby Boomers have been singing that song the past few years. After 41 years together, and the fact that 64 has come and gone for me, I can say yes, she still loved me when I was 64. Have a blessed week.

Thanks for visiting the blog–Life in Saudi is an adjustment and truth be told, my freedom is impacted, but you also have to look at what we have gained–My husband who was working 12 hour days, now leaves the office at 4:30pm.. Our savings potential is such that in 10 years he can retire–completely–if he wanted to. It also affords us the freedom of travel and with 6 weeks holiday each year, that’s a lot of time off to explore the world, develop talents and try new things. Sharing this experience with other women means we have a network of understanding and compassion that I’ve not felt in a very long time. So, yes, not being able to drive is buggy, being perceived as a piece of meat is super irritating, but honestly how often do I interact with the men who feel this way.? NEVER! And what I am gaining in return is really rich–you might surprise yourself what you can do when such an opportunity presents itself. BTW, I love the sparkler pictures!
Aye, yi, yi! I’m afraid I will be living those lyrics waaaaaaay sooner than I’d like to! haha. I love that I feel I’m looking into a glimpse of their love in this photo. Thanks for sharing at Song-ography..
Great song, and a perfect photo to match

I remember both well.
And, in their minds, they still look as young as when they first heard the song. That’s how the Husband and I feel. 🙂
Take 25 to Hollister
Aren’t they cute.
I’m 63 and heading your way!
