I think my daughter is the only child who, when you take her to pub for lunch, picks one of the books from shelves, that have been left there as interior decoration, and proceeds to read it. On this occasion she made a start on A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens.

My daughter is the same way… nose always in a book! Lovely shot!

What an amazing moment you captured! I love that she just picks up a book and starts reading–sign of a true reader & smart girl! Also nice to see a youngster READING at a restaurant instead of sucked into some electronic diversion 🙂
Smart little girl! I LOVE to read and I could never understand when my students used to COMPLAIN about the books the literature teacher asked them to read.
