Last night the clocks changed and we are now officially in British Summer Time mode…. but as you can see from lack of leaves on the trees, we may have wonderful blue skies but things are far from summery. Amazingly not a single parent forgot about the change and so football kicked off beneath this beautiful blue sky on time, and they won, 4 – 0. Come on you blues!

The bare tree has its own beauty. Recently, we went on a two day trip – and there, along with the lush greenery, there were several trees completely bare. At first I felt a little sorry for them, you know, nestled between the trees that had fresh green leaves and flowers – and then I thought, the bare trees look so quietly confident. 🙂 And then there were trees with only flowers and no leaves at all – as though God personally planted bouquets.
Your photos are beautiful, Molly! Cheers!
Thank you very much for such a thoughtful and lovely comment. I have taken a few tree shots this weeks, the bare branches against the amazing blue skies we have been having make for fabulous images I find.
That is a beautiful shot! I love the blue skies. We are in full Spring mode in South Carolina. . .
Thank you so much for the comment on my blog. I think I like the unedited photo the best too.

That bare tree somehow makes me appreciate the blue sky even more. Great pic.
