We are spending the weekend in Southport. Yesterday our friends took us into Liverpool and we went on the Liverpool eye. It was a truly beautiful crisp winters day, with bright clear sunshine. However it was blowing a pretty fearsome wind that not only was damn cold but rocked the little pods on the eye in a rather alarming manner. The views were amazing though but I am afraid I didn’t get any pictures of them as I was far to busy being scared out of my wits. I love Ferris wheels. The views can be incredible. Going on one in high winds though – you are braver than I for even trying.
Love the perspective of this shot. The views from the top must be stunning.
I love a good Ferris wheel ride, though perhaps not during a gale force wind!
Ferris wheels creep me out, but you make this one look inviting!
Molly, this one’s a cracker. Beautiful perspective, masterful framing. Dramatic and dynamic. Bravo!

That is such a great shot! I love Ferris Wheels!
Amazing pic… But just looking at it is making me… Well really anxious to say the least.
Wow I didn’t even know there was a Liverpool Eye!
I live about an hours drive from London, and I’ve not been on the London Eye either. Not sure I’d enjoy the experience on a windy day!
Great photo.
That is a great photograph. I would have been terrified.
Great shot! I wanted to go up on the Eye when I was in London on my honeymoon, but the weather did not cooperate with us! 🙂
Oh I love this photo! Thank you for sharing it with us at Busy Nothings photo club. I would love to feature it on my blog later this week, hope that’s okay?
