We have had an usually mild winter so far in the UK this year. Barely a night frost in sight and certainly no daytime ice. Up in the north of the UK there has been the odd smattering of snow but unlike the last few years nothing really exciting. However this weekend seems to have come along to remind us that it might have been mild so far but that doesn’t mean it will stay like that.
“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” ~ Anne Bradstreet

That rim of ice is very photogenic. And I enjoyed my visit to your other site as well. Fascinating. I’m pressing the Submit button right now . . .
