The last time I went to Paris was in November 2010. During that visit Michael proposed to me at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Afterwards we went into a cafe nearby and eat a delicious dinner at 11pm at night. We were one of the only people in the place and we always joke about he fact that my half carafe of red wine cost less that Michael’s diet coke. When we went back last month one of the things we really wanted to do was to find that cafe again because it had such wonderful memories for us. After a bit of searching we found it. It was lunch time and busy and we had other places to get to that day so we didn’t go in but it made me so happy to find it. We have promised ourselves that we will go back again just for the purpose of eating in this restaurant again. Oh and the man reflected in the glass, that is my darling husband.
Hello Molly,
Paris is hectically, loudly and high priced – but I love the city so much! Only at night, I think, there is a lot of romantic.
Your shot is very interesting and the little story about the café was nice to read. It’s great that you’ve found again the café after years.
Best regards from Germany
