“There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it’s going to be a butterfly.” ~ R. Buckminster Fuller
This fat caterpillar weirdly appeared on the blanket I was sitting on in the garden a week or so ago. I have no idea where it came from but I looked down and there it was wriggling it ways across the the fabric. Obviously my first thought was to grab my camera and used my macro lens to capture this shot because scooping him up and setting him back in among the plants and hopefully my good deed will mean another beautiful butterfly in the world next summer.
