“We do not remember days, we remember moments.” – Cesare Pavese
I found this sculpture on a grave in a local little cemetery. It had clearly been there a long time. The metal work was tinged with verdigris and you can just make out some of the spider webs that decorated this piece. There was a small grave stone too but it only had a name and dates on it so there were no clues as to why this unusual piece had been placed in remembrance of this person. I feel like there is a story here about this sculpture and the persons life it is now marking, or maybe the family just liked it, but whichever it is remains a mystery.
