“Never,” said Quentin. “My mission in life is to be a passenger.” ~ Diana Wynne Jones
I have for many years been the sole driver in our house. My husband, who is American, has never bothered to pass his test in the UK and up until recently my kids have not been of driving age but just before Christmas that all changed when my son passed his driving test. As a result I am now getting the opportunity to be a passenger once in a while. I even got to have a glass of wine at my parents house the other night because the boy drove us all home and unlike when you are the driver you can take some interesting shots from the passenger seat. It’s rather lovely having a chauffeur.
