Day 28 – Portrait of her

“A photographic portrait is a picture of someone who knows he is being photographed, and what he does with this knowledge is as much a part of the photograph as what he’s wearing or how he looks.” ~ Richard Avedon
She knew I was taking her picture but she chose to ignore me and carry on reading her book. As a general rule she likes being my model but sometimes she just can’t be bothered with it. What she does not realise is that sometimes that is my favourite response because then I get to take a portrait of her just being completely her.
