Day 330 – Regenerating

“Dull, inert cities, it is true, do contain the seeds of their own destruction and little else. But lively, diverse, intense cities contain the seeds of their own regeneration, with energy enough to carry over for problems and needs outside themselves.” ~ Jane Jacobs
I think this is so true of London. It is a city that is constantly changing, evolving, regenerating and adapting to the needs of the people in it. This particular part of London is a few streets away from where I grew up in Camden Town. The lights are being reflected in the Regents Canal. The whole area looks just like it did when I was child and yet at the same time completely different.
