I wonder what she is thinking. She looked fairly happy and content in her very big pool that she was wallowing in. Born in captivity it is all this Hippo would know and yet you have to wonder if her innate instincts tell her that she is missing something. I really do wonder what is going on behind that Hippo’s eye. We will never know but hopefully her breeding ability will mean that these majestic creatures will continue to avoid extinction.

Beautiful, you even captured the hairy hippo ears. That looks like one content beast, but then again who really knows.
