In case you are wondering this a self portrait. I take a lot of them. This one was part of a series that I took one evening using just a simple soft light from a lamp. I loved the way it created darkness and shadows but of course the trick if getting the ISO right to avoid having too much noise in the image. I spent rather a long time working on it but got a result I was pleased with in the end.
