“We all know that a sky with clouds in it is much more interesting than one that doesn’t have any.” ~ Jodi Picoult
This is Port Meadow in Oxford. A beautiful haven that lays to the north east of the city. It is an ancient area of grazing land that has never been ploughed. It is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 giving the Freeman of Oxford the right to graze their animals free of charge which continues to be the case right up to the present day. If you ever go to Oxford make sure you visit this beautiful, natural, untouched piece of meadow land. You will not be disappointed.
Beautifully proportioned. Eldest son is graduating July and is on 4th round of interviews for a company in Oxford – must remember just in case! Looks stunning.
This is beautiful and so peaceful. I could imagine spending my day here in the warm sun reading my book and writing letters!
