A great quote indeed but I myself have found that the straightforward path is not necessarily the best path to take. Stepping off the path and finding what is hiding just out of sight brings huge rewards. Yes there are moments when you think maybe you are lost but actually if you just keep going you find out all sorts of things you didn’t know about yourself and the world around you. Sometimes getting lost is the best way to being found.
