I have many favourite things but when it comes to flowers Daffodils are my favourite spring flower and probably my favourite flower overall. There is just something so wonderfully cheery about them. Even on a grey spring day they sit up bold and bright in my garden like little sunshine’s glowing at the world around them. Last year I planted lots of them in the grass in my front garden. They look lovely now but I have realised that to really create the carpet look I am going to need to plant a great deal more.
