When I was a child and young adult this part of Kings Cross in London was a run down almost derelict part of the city. It was definitely an area that you did not wander around in on your own at night. Now after a multi million pound regeneration project it is completely transformed from its former rundown self into a thriving business area with offices, shops and restaurants. It is virtually unrecognizable from the place I knew as a youth.
