Day 162 – Space Oddity

Interntational space station in the sky
Interntational space station in the sky*The bright line in the sky is the International Space Station which at certain times is visible in the night sky. I took this using a tripod with my 18 – 55mm lens set to 33mm, f/22 and a 8 second exposure. I am rather pleased with it but I would like to try again, when it is next passing by, with a longer exposure to see if I can capture a longer path of light across the night sky.

Hi Molly!. Thanks a lot for stopping by. Did you move your blog??? OK, now found you again… 😉
Yes, when I enlarge your night shot, I can see the German astronaut Alexander Gerst looking and waving out of the shuttle window… 😉
Kind regards from sunny Germany right after the sun set,

How cool and yay for a clear night! The ISS was supposed to be visible near us a few months ago, but we couldn’t see it.

Amazing capture. I have been wanting to do star trail pictures, never thought to catch the space station though.
