“Well, I was raised up
Beneath the shade of a Georgia pine
And thats home you know
Sweet tea, pecan pie and homemade wine
Where the peaches grow”
Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band
you can’t think Georgia without thinking Atlanta, and you can’t think of Atlanta without thinking of Peachtree St. Neat perspective and take on this week’s song.
Peachtree Street y’all! Did you come home with a bit of a southern twang to compliment that lovely British accent of yours? Thanks for linking up to Song-ography. (P.S. I LOVE this font you are using here!)
very interesting! Isn’t there a TV show with that name?
Love the bright sky 🙂

Great pairing!
Have a wonderful day!
The sign is perfect.
I do declare that Peachtree street was mentioned in Gone With The Wind, one of my favorite movies of all time. Fun take on the song.
Pretty perfect pick for that lyric. I was just in Atlanta a month ago for the first in ages so it captured my attention immediately.

Did you know that there are at least 50 “peachtree” streets, roads, avenues, etc in Atlanta? It’s crazy!
