This is really cool, the details of the melted wax is visually interesting. It looks like the candelabra is sitting on a very old mantle that has seen a lot of wax.
The melted candles look dramatic! Perfect quote.

My mother had a silver plated candelabra very similar to this one.
At one time we lived where candles were our only lighting. We saw many such wax sculptures when there was a draught. I love your composition.
