Day 227 – Storming The Castle

Bodiam Castle

Bodiam Castle was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of Edward III, with the permission of Richard II, ostensibly to defend the area against French invasion during the Hundred Years’ War. Now it stands partially ruined and yet still imposingly beautiful deep within the Sussex countryside.

Valerie: Think it’ll work?
Miracle Max: It would take a miracle.

A nice castle, but I think it is scary to live there?

In it’s day I think it would have been a very impressive place to live but not so much now mainly because of a lack of roof 😉
