After much time spent waiting patiently for this little Blue Tit to be still long enough for me to a shot that is not blurred I have concluded that birds, especially smalls ones, are tricky little buggers to photograph well. They seem to have absolutely no concept of the importance of holding still for just a few fleeting moments. Got him in the end though…..
“Blue canary in the outlet by the light switch
Who watches over you
Make a little birdhouse in your soul
Not to put too fine a point on it
Say I’m the only bee in your bonnet
Make a little birdhouse in your soul”

Oh my, what an AMAZING shot!! What lens did you use. I love bluebirds.
Hi Molly, thanks for visiting! Your bird is so sharp. You must have been very patient.
Have a great day, enjoy the rain! We might meet along the Mimram one day don’t forget to wear something I would recognise 😉
LOL… would sparkly high heels do the trick do you think?
I used a 75mm – 300mm and I had it set to the 3oomm and on the tripod by the window near where I sit to work and I waited…. and waited…. and waited!
