I woke up early this morning and went to have a wee. As I was sitting on the toilet I happened to peek out underneath the blind and I was greeted with a vision of the most perfect eerie moon. I couldn’t help myself I had to try and photograph it. So I slipped downstairs grabbed my camera and headed straight back to the bathroom. Do you know just how quickly the moon moves across the night sky? As quickly as I got it in focus it was slipping behind the branches of the tree. In the end I found myself balancing on the edge of the bath to capture this. All it needs is an owl in the tree don’t you think?
“And in between the moon and you
The angels get a better view
Of the crumbling difference between wrong and right.”

I am such a fan of moon shots and this one is truly stunning!
This is a great shot. Makes me think of Ansel Adams’ Moonrise – he only had the time for one exposure too…=*^)
Love it! Moon shots are a favorite of mine and I just never can capture them very well – this is great!
Ooh, gorgeous!!
That’s a really beautiful scene.
Love that it fell behind the branches for you to include those in your image. It helps frame and draw your eye into the moon. Thanks for linking up :O)
