All architecture is great architecture after sunset; perhaps architecture is really a nocturnal art, like the art of fireworks. ~ Gilbert K. Chesterton
This is centre point in London which stands directly above Tottenham Court Road tube station. Built in the 1960’s it stood empty for years as the owner refused to let it out in sections but instead wanted one single tenant. At one time it was occupied by students protesting the problems of housing and homelessness in London at the time. It has recently been redeveloped into a series of luxury city apartments. The one bedrooms apartments are thought to be about £1 million but the most expensive 5 bedroom apartment is rumoured to have cost £50 million
