Here is the UK we call it a clothes peg as opposed to a pin in the USA.

Funny how normal, everyday objects can become works of art, depending on how one views them. Great shot! Happy 2018!
I like this. If you hadn’t said what it is I would have thought it something much sturdier. Re. Lucian Freud . . . with something like this . . . When anything is disconnected from its whole one is invited to think more carefully about it and the more attention we pay to something the more connected we become to it, and the more connected we become to it the more we grow to love it, and the more we love it the more real it becomes. Even the word ‘love’ is appropriate here because, without wanting to sound too fanciful, ‘loving’ the world and its contents makes us more ‘real’ too.
