Day 363 – Through the gate

“We did not choose to be the guardians of the gate, but there is no one else.” ~ Lyndon B. Johnson
As we look through the gate into 2017 this quote seems hugely apt. The need to guard against intolerance and hate is never more real than it is now. This year will be see that tested in my opinion like never before. Peace is something we have come to take for granted in the west. That has definitely changed now and through the gate we are presented with an uncertain world for us all.
