I am not a big one for flower photographs as the internet seems to be awash with them and to be honest they are all much of a muchness but every now and then something too beautiful to ignore presents itself.

Day 83 – Blues!

Last night the clocks changed and we are now officially in British Summer Time mode…. but as you can see from lack of leaves on the trees, we may have wonderful blue skies but things are far from summery. Amazingly not a single parent forgot about the change and so football kicked off beneath this beautiful blue sky on time, and they won, 4 – 0. Come on you blues!

“France has found a unique way of controlling its unwanted critter population. They have done this by giving unwanted animals like snails, pigeons, and frogs fancy names, thus transforming common backyard pests into expensive delicacies. These are then served to gullible tourists, who will eat anything they can’t pronounce.” ~ Chris Harris

Day 75 – Daffy

They are my favourite flower. I think because I associate them so strongly with the end of winter and the beginning of some hint of warmth in my life. When ever I see them I know the cold is slowly going away and soon my garden will be filled with lots of colour. For now, I am greeted with these little rays of sunshine every time I open my front door.
