Day 43 – Whitewash
12th February 2012
After weeks and weeks of looking at other peoples snow photography I actually found myself wishing we would get some of the white stuff here so that I could have a go at my own versions. As January came and went I was pretty convinced that we had managed to get through this winter without snow, but I was wrong. I took the opportunity to take tons of pictures, you see some of them HERE and HERE but after spending hours trying to decide what to post for Sunday In My City I went for this, the view from my front door. Now that’s done can please have some sign of spring time….please!
Of winter’s lifeless world each tree
Now seems a perfect part;
Yet each one holds summer’s secret
Deep down within its heart.

great shot!
Seems you like snow! Me not.
Even if here in Fuerteventura it’s not summer it’s better than in Finland where it’s snowing right now and cold, next week colder.
I had sun this morning while Nordic walking, better than nothing. Now it’s cloudy again but I’ll go to a yoga lesson…
Perfect shot in black and white. Beautiful scene.
absolutely love this shot!
I’m right there with you. Hurry up and give me some pretty snow so we can move onto budding flowers.
I love snow and often miss it but then I remember it has to be cold with it. Beautiful pics though.
We haven’t had a “real” winter here at all – - – I’d surely like SOME real winter before summer comes.
I like the other pictures very much, but this one is my favorite. It’s just gorgeous.
oooh Molly, you must be freezing, come here – let me give you a warm hug! That photo takes my breath away! I’ve never seen snow and pictures of it fascinate me.
The verse is beautiful!
You’re daily photos are awesome! I LOVE this one. I can’t stop looking at it! It’s just perfect.
Lovely winter picture!! We got way too little snow this year for taking any nice photos like that…
