Day 100 – Padlock Love

Padlock love on fence in Bristol at the Clifton Outlook

You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear. Oscar Wilde

One has to assume that when Jack and Lyndsey placed this padlock here in 2014 they pretty felt this way about one another, or at least I hope they did because if not then chances are this padlock is still attached to this fence but they are not still attached to one another. I love these padlocks, not because they indicate life long loves and commitments but because there are stories to be told here of how two people felt so strongly and passionately about each other that they locked their names together on this fence.

…Molly, this padlock thing is relatively new to me, but my sweetie and I have been “locked together” 49 years!
