She knew I was taking her picture but she chose to ignore me and carry on reading her book. As a general rule she likes being my model but sometimes she just can’t be bothered with it. What she does not realise is that sometimes that is my favourite response because then I get to take a portrait of her just being completely her.
That is really beautiful. And I had never thought of it that way. If we know we are being photographed we do become self conscious. You have a wonderful model.
