Day 49 – Wheel In The Sky

blue sky and the Liverpool eye

We are spending the weekend in Southport. Yesterday our friends took us into Liverpool and we went on the Liverpool eye. It was a truly beautiful crisp winters day, with bright clear sunshine. However it was blowing a pretty fearsome wind that not only was damn cold but rocked the little pods on the eye in a rather alarming manner. The views were amazing though but I am afraid I didn’t get any pictures of them as I was far to busy being scared out of my wits. Oh I love this photo! Thank you for sharing it with us at Busy Nothings photo club. I would love to feature it on my blog later this week, hope that’s okay?

Great shot! I wanted to go up on the Eye when I was in London on my honeymoon, but the weather did not cooperate with us! 🙂

That is a great photograph. I would have been terrified.

Wow I didn’t even know there was a Liverpool Eye!

I live about an hours drive from London, and I’ve not been on the London Eye either. Not sure I’d enjoy the experience on a windy day!

    Great photo.

Ferris wheels creep me out, but you make this one look inviting!

I love a good Ferris wheel ride, though perhaps not during a gale force wind!

Love the perspective of this shot. The views from the top must be stunning.

I love Ferris wheels. The views can be incredible. Going on one in high winds though – you are braver than I for even trying.
